Stéphanie Carpentier
Marketing Project Manager
Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming a teacher. That dream led me to earn a Bachelor's degree in Secondary French Education in 2012. However, once I entered the workforce, the reality of the profession encouraged me to explore a different path. I accepted a position as a Sales Representative with TELUS, a decision that would ultimately transform the course of my career.
To my surprise, I discovered a genuine passion for customer service, human relationships, and business development. I quickly progressed within the organization and eventually became a Store Manager in Sherbrooke, a position I held for nearly ten years. During that time, I developed strong leadership, team management, and employee development skills.
After the arrival of my two children, I felt the need to reassess my professional priorities. I wanted to reconnect with what had always inspired me most: communication, writing, languages, creativity, and the desire to share ideas. This led me to transition into marketing and communications by accepting a position as a Bilingual Communications Specialist. It was at that moment that I realized I had finally found my true calling.
My journey then led me through different professional environments that helped me grow and better understand what I was truly looking for. A few months ago, I discovered Portable Winch. From my very first meeting with Christian and Josianne, I knew this was a different kind of company. I was immediately drawn to the quality of its people, its innovative spirit, its ambition, and the strong human values that drive the organization.
Today, I can confidently say that I have found my place. As a Marketing Project Manager, I have the opportunity to put my creativity, communication skills, and passion for continuous learning to good use. Every day, I contribute to promoting an innovative company whose products are recognized around the world and whose growth potential is truly remarkable.
What stands out most to me about Portable Winch, beyond its products and growth, is its people-first culture. The sense of belonging, the trust placed in employees, and the authentic relationships built every day make all the difference. I am grateful to be part of this team and look forward to continuing this incredible journey for many years to come.
