Portable Winch Co. wants to support its DEALER NETWORK and we stongly encourage you to find the one the closest to your location and to visit their store to make your purchase. This gesture towards the local economy will always be priviledged and greatly appreciated.

DID YOU KNOW? Our products are already available through our DEALER NETWORK. Some of them even offer in-store pickup service. Look for that option at checkout to see if it is available near you; this would make you save all the shipping costs!

All orders are processed during opening business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST with the exception of Canada’s public holidays.

Portable Winch Co. has agreements with various shipping services and makes sure to choose the most appropriate for your region. The prices set below include all charges for regular shipments in Canada and no additional fees will be applied.

SHIPPING RATES*

Canadian Ground Services:

  • Orders up to 10 kg = $25.00
  • Orders between 10.1 and 25 kg = $45.00
  • Orders between 25.1 and 45 kg = $65.00
  • Orders of 45.1 kg and up = $115.00

*Plus applicable taxes.

IMPORTANT: The cost of a shipment can be affected by the amount of space that it occupies, rather than its actual weight. This is called the volumetric (or dimensional) weight. Some items like the skidding cone (PCA-1290) and transport cases fall into this category.

ESTIMATED TRANSIT DAYS

The estimated transit days are between 2 and 10 business days. They are subject to the Tariff/Terms and Conditions of Service. Scheduled business days and delivery schedules are revised occasionally due to changes in distribution and volume, especially during holiday periods. Service to some remote areas also may require additional delivery days.

1. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO BUY YOUR PRODUCTS?

2. DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE CANADA?

The only other country where we ship online orders is the United States. However, in order to do so, you have to process your order through www.portablewinch.com. Note that prices on that site will be in US Dollars.

3. HOW CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

Once your order is shipped, your tracking number will be emailed to you. You will then be able to check the status of your order. If you are unable to locate your order, please call (toll free) 1-888-388-7855 or email our sales department at sales@portablewinch.com.

4. HOW ARE SHIPPING CHARGES CALCULATED?

If you go directly to your local dealer (click here to find it), there will be no shipping charges. If you order online and select the in-store pickup option, there will be no shipping charges either. If you order online and choose to have your order delivered to your door, shipping charges will be applied. Refer to the rate chart above.

Note that some voluminous items, such as the skidding cone and the transport cases, are subject to dimensional weight calculation when shipping, which means that instead of their actual weight, shipping companies are using their dimensional weight to charge. 5. IF THERE IS ONE OR MORE ITEM THAT IS BACKORDER, DO YOU DO PARTIAL SHIPMENTS? IF SO, DO I GET CHARGED TWICE WITH SHIPPING?

It depends. In the event that you chose the in-store pickup option, there will be no shipping charges applied. If you selected the home-delivery option and that a product is backorder, you will be contacted by our salespeople prior to shipping. You will be asked if you wish to receive a partial shipment or wait for a complete shipment. If you choose to get a partial delivery, then yes, you will be charged a second time for the backordered item(s).

6. HOW LONG DO BACKORDER ITEMS TAKE TO SHIP?

It depends on the item. Product deliveries are sometimes delayed for reasons out of our control. We are constantly monitoring our stock levels and continuously receiving shipments at our warehouse to fulfill your orders in the shortest delays.

7. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN ORDER CONFIRMATION EMAIL, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

The first thing to do is to check your junk mail. The emails being automatically generated sometimes end up there. If you are unable to locate our confirmation email, please call (toll free) 1-888-388-7855 or email our sales department at sales@portablewinch.com.
